'NIRBASHITO' -  "A film on a banished mother and a homeless daughter. On banishment from motherland and mother-tongue. On commitment. On a fight for freedom of expression."
 
'Nirbashito' (Banished) is inspired by writer Taslima Nasreen and her cat, Minu. Director/ actor Churni Ganguly received Best Film Award yesterday for 'Nirbashito' at the Delhi International Film Festival.
