The World Climate & Biodiversity Summit returns to New York on 25 September 2025 for its 5th edition, taking place on the sidelines of Climate Week NYC and the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly.
Climate change and biodiversity loss are deeply connected - and addressing them demands a unified response. In 2025, we are merging World Climate Summit and World Biodiversity Summit into a single platform for action: World Climate & Biodiversity Summit.
Grounded in the principles of the Rio Conventions – UNFCCC, UNCBD and UNCCD – the Summit brings together leaders from business, government, finance, academia and civil society to advance holistic solutions that address both climate and nature, as well as support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the Paris Agreement.
