If you have looked at Instagram today you would have a seen a lot of happy, smiling children in black and white, slightly torn photographs. The world is coming together by sharing childhood memories so that we can ensure that every child has the chance to have a healthy and happy childhood.
In India the #ChildhoodChallenge campaign was launched by UNICEF India Celebrity Advocate Kareena Kapoor Khan via her Instagram handle where she shared one of her childhood photographs and memories.
”A safe, healthy childhood is what has made me who I am today. But there are millions of children who are vulnerable and deprived of their rights. COVID-19 is making the situation worse for the most vulnerable children. As UNICEF’s celebrity advocate, I am pleased to launch in India the #ChildhoodChallenge to protect children and help give them a happy childhood. Together, we can reimagine a better future for every child.”
